About Us
At Nnenah Youth Development Centre, we believe that the potential to revamp our society lies within young people. Our mission is simple but powerful: to equip them with the tools they need to create sustainable livelihoods, build profitable businesses, and develop the confidence to improve their communities.
Founded in the heart of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nnenah Youth Development Centre emerged from the realization that rural youth, especially young women and men, were often overlooked in traditional development programs. The founder’s vision was clear—to empower these young individuals with entrepreneurial skills, mentorship, and financial support, enabling them to rise above challenges and contribute meaningfully to their local economy.
With over 200 million people, Nigeria is one of the youngest populations globally, with over 60% of its citizens under 25. However, access to education, skill-building opportunities, and financial resources often stifle this youthful energy. In rural areas, where economic opportunities are scarce, young people have limited pathways to success. The youth aren’t the problem—they are the solution.
By focusing on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), we are giving them the power to support themselves and create jobs for others. Studies show that MSMEs account for over 80% of employment in developing countries like Nigeria. When young people learn to manage and grow successful businesses, they become drivers of personal success and local economic growth.
Our Vision
A future where rural young women and men develop their entrepreneurial skills, become dignified and self-employed, and/or become employers of other youths to sustainably contribute to the economy and social fabric of their communities.

To contribute to the development of productive entrepreneurial capacities and talents among young people in Ile-Ife and the entire Osun state.
Our Goals
To provide financial support and mentorship to rural youth, to help them develop well-managed micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs),or gain employment to become self-confident and contribute to improved livelihoods in their families and rural communities.
